Abstract
This paper deals with mathematical modeling of switching power converters. Theoretical part covers issues with non linearity of switching converters and principles of their transformation into linear models which are more appropriate for mathematical analysis. Third part covers basic knowledge of nonlinear circuits and frequency responses of converter line-to-output and control-to-output transfer functions. Fourth part focuses on analysis of regulator design and their implementation in feedback of switching converters. Theoretical considerations and mathematical calculations of buck switching converter modeling has been successfully confirmed by simulations. Simulation results have been confirmed on three switching power converters realized with different industrial PWM generators.
