Abstract
Ovim radom je izvršena optimizacija motora Yamahe R6 korištenog u svrhu Formula Student natjecanja, za što je korišten Ricardo Wave softverski paket. Prvo su prikupljeni potrebni podaci o motoru te su izvršena mjerenja za parametare čiji podaci su bili nedostupni. Nakon što je model motora bio potpun vršila se je optimizacija pojedinih dijelova. Krajnji rezultat uspoređen je sa ručno izvršenim proračunom, te sa rezultatima dobivenih mjerenjem na dinamometru nakon što je sve bilo izrađeno i postavljeno na bolid.
Abstract (english)
In this paper is being carried out an optimization of Yamaha R6 engine with purpose of compiting on Formula Student competitions, for which is used Ricardo Wave software package. First, the required engine data was collected and measurements were made for parameters whose data was unavailable. After the engine model was completed, the optimization of idividual parts was performed. The end result was compared to the results of hand calculations, and to the results obtained with chassis dynamometer after everything was manufactured and car was assemled.
