Abstract
U Splitskom brodogradilištu „Brodosplit“, 2011. godine, izgrađen je najveći i najsuvremeniji „Juice“ tanker u povijesti, „Orange Star“. Najznačajnija karakteristika „Juice“ tankera je njegov sistem za skladištenje, koji je osmišljen kako bi uspješno prevozio željeni teret. S obzirom da brod prevozi sokove, robu kvarljive prirode, sustav hlađenja i skladištenja je izgrađen najsuvremenijom tehnologijom kako bi osigurao duži rok trajanja robi koju prevozi. Skladišni prostor broda podijeljen je u pet teretnih prostora. U 1. i 5. teretnom prostoru nalaze se po jedan veći tank od 4000 m3, u 2. i 4. se nalaze po četiri manja tanka od 2000 m3 i svi su izričito za prijevoz soka, dok se u 3. teretnom prostoru nalaze četiri manja tanka od 2000 m3, ali se u njima također prevozi i sok, ali i koncentrat. Sveukupno brod može prevoziti oko 32000 m3 soka i koncentrata naranče. Sokovi se pohranjuju na temperaturi od -1 ° C dok se koncentrat naranče prevozi ohlađen na temperaturi od -10 °C. Odjeljci za hlađenje su prikladno konstruirani i postavljeni na takav način da im se omogući prolaz zraka.
Abstract (english)
In the Split shipyard „Brodosplit“ in 2011, the largest and most modern juice carrier in history, „Orange star“ ,was built. The most important feature of juice carrier is it storage system, designed to successfully carry the desired load. Considering that the shipy is carrying juices, the goods of pernicious nature, the cooling and storage system is built with state of the art technology to ensure the longer shelf life of the goods being transported. The ship's storage space is divided into five freight spaces. In the 1st and 5th cargo hold there is one larger tank of 4000 m3, in 2nd and 4th there are four smaller tanks of 2000 m3 and all are specifically for the transport of juice, while in the 3rd cargo hold there are four smaller tanks of 2000 m3, but they also carry juice and concentrate. Total ship can carry about 32000 m3 of juice and orange concentrate.
