Abstract
Od samog začetka gradnje broda i porinuća prvog plovnog objekta, brod sa svojom posadom se nalazi u koštac sa prirodom koju nastoji savladati u svim vremenskim prilikama i neprilikama. Splavi za spašavanje spadaju u onaj dio opreme koje nam zbog svoje veličine poprilično smetaju na brodu jer je svaka slobodna površina bitna bilo za prijevoz robe kod trgovačkih ili prijevoz putnika. Opremu za spašavanje koristimo jednom i to u praksi vrlo rijetko pa je bitno održavanje cijele opreme za spašavanje pa tako i same splavi za spašavanje. Servisni interval određuje proizvođač te se bitno držati istog. Također je bitan i plan spašavanja prilikom havarije na brodu kako bi svi putnici u što kraćem roku napustili brod sigurni.
Abstract (english)
From the very beginning of the construction of the ship and the launching of the first vessel, the ship, with its crew, has been coping with nature which it strives to overcome it in every situation it finds in. Life rafts are one of the pieces of equipment that, due to their size, bother us on board because we know how important is every free space we got on the ship for transporting goods for cargo ships and passengers. We use the rescue equipment once and in general very rarely, so it is important to maintain the entire rescue equipment, including the life rafts themselves. The service interval is determined by the manufacturer so it is very important to pay attention to its date. Rescue plan is also important in a shipwreck so that all passengers leave the ship safely as soon as possible.
