Abstract
Proučavanje fluida i mehanizama interakcije fluida i krutih površina ključno je za optimizaciju i unaprjeđenje dizajna kako osobnih automobila tako i trkaćih jer se na taj način mogu poboljšati potrošnja goriva, njihove performanse na stazi ili brzina na pravcu. Jedan od najboljih primjera na kojima je moguće vidjeti napredak u polju aerodinamike tijekom godina je svakako na stražnjim spojlerima automobila te je tako primjetno kako su s vremenom krila postajala sve kompleksnije geometrije, ponajprije zahvaljujući povećanim mogućnostima omogućenih razvojem raznih računalnih programa za simulaciju optjecanja fluida. Na primjeru stražnjeg krila bolida formule student RiTeh racing teama, napravljena je simulacija optjecanja zraka oko tog aeroprofila u programima Hypermash, VirtualWindTunnel, AcuFieldView čime su automatski dobivene i sile, odnosno tlakovi koji djeluju na taj dio i ubrzanje zraka u pozitivnom smjeru x-osi uz površinu tog krila čime se pokazalo koji su komadi ključni za performanse.
Abstract (english)
Studying fluids and mechanisms behind interactions between a fluid and the solid body it is surrouonding or flowing around is crucial for optimization and improvement of the designe of personal vehicles as well as racing machines in order to improve their fuel consumption, cornering performance and straightline speed. The developement in the field of aerodynamics over the years can best be observed on the example of a car rear wing. It is more than obvious that over the time the rear wings have become more and more complex, primarily thanks to the increased possibilities of simulation enabled by the developement of various fluid flow computer simulation programes. On the example of the rear wing of a formula student car designed by RiTeh Racing team, a simulation of airflow around that aeroprofile has been carried out in following programes: Hypermash, VirtualWindTunnel and AcuFieldView. Combining the work in those three programes has automatically generated values of forces, i.e. pressures exerted on that piece and the acceleration of air in the positive direction of x-axis along the area of the wing by which it is shown which pieces are key to unlock more performance.
