Abstract
U ovom radu obrađene su karakteristike metalnih materijala. Opisane su kemijske veze i kristalna struktura tvari, te nesavršenosti kristalnih rešetki. Obrađeni su difuzijski mehanizmi i važnosti difuzije atoma u metalima i legurama. Objašnjena su svojstva metalnih materijala te su svrstana u kategorije prema mehaničkim, fizikalnim, kemijskim i tehnološkim svojstvima. Pomno je obrađen utjecaj metalne veze i nesavršenosti kristalne strukture na metalne materijale. Na kraju su obrađeni tehnički materijali te njihova svojstva koja su uspoređena sa svojstvima metalnih materijala. Nakon obrađenih cjelina, zaključeno je da su metalni materijali jako važni za konstrukcijske materijale, te u usporedbi sa ostalim tehničkim materijalima imaju jako dobra toplinska, mehanička i električna svojstva.
Abstract (english)
In this paper, the characteristics of metallic materials are treated. Chemical bonds and crystal structure of matter, as well as imperfections of crystal lattices are described. Diffusion mechanisms and the importance of atomic diffusion in metals and alloys are discussed. The properties of metallic materials are explained and they are classified into categories according to mechanical, physical, chemical and technological properties. The influence of metal bonding and imperfections of crystal structure on metallic materials has been carefully treated. Finally, technical materials and their properties were processed, which were compared with the properties of metallic materials. After processing the units, it was concluded thet metallic materials are very important for construction materials, and in comparison with other technical materials have very good thermal, mechanical and electrical properties.
