Abstract
U ovom radu opisan je projekt sustava iskorištenja otpadne topline velikog brodskog motora u kombinaciji sa parno-turbinskim postrojenjem. Prvi dio bavi se opisivanjem bitnih elemenata ovakvog sustava kao što su emisija ispušnih plinova nastali izgaranjem goriva i prikazuje njihov utjecaj na okoliš. Nakon prvog dijela opisane su glavne karakteristike, princip rada, prednosti i nedostaci pojedinog tipa motora sa unutarnjim izgaranjem. Središnji dio i srž samog rada je opisivanje sustava iskorištavanja topline ispušnih plinova i glavnog razloga zašto je takav sustav iznimno bitan u današnjem svijetu. Također u središnjem dijelu izrađeni su proračuni motora i parno-turbinskog postrojenja. U zadnjem dijelu rada izraženi su proračuni uštede na gorivu korištenjem ovakvog sustava.
Abstract (english)
This paper describes the design of the waste heat recovery system of a large marine engine in comibination with a steam turbine plant. The first part deals with the description of the essential elements of such system, such as exhaust emissions from fuel combustion and shows their impact on environment. After the first part, the main characteristcis, working prinicple, advantages and disadvantages of each type of internal combustion engine are described. The central part and the core of the paper itself is describtion of the exhaust heat recovery system and the main reason why such system is extremely important in today's world. Also in the central part, calculations of the engine and steam-turbine plant were calculated. In the last part of the paper, fuel savings calculations are expressed using such system.
