Abstract
Ovaj diplomski rad objašnjava osnovna svojstva prirodnog plina i njegovu primjenu u rezidencijalnom i komercijalnom sektoru. Analizira se tržišni udio prirodnog plina u zemljama Europske Unije i pogotovo Hrvatske. Glavni fokus rada je projekt centralnog sustava grijanja i centralnog sustava pripreme potrošne tople vode, kod visoke stambene zgrade locirane u Hrvatskoj na području grada Rijeke. Kroz rad prolazi se kroz proračune vezane za toplinske gubitke zgrade (prije i poslije obnove), proračune potrošnje energije (prije i poslije obnove), proračun potrošne tople vode, i proračun energije za kuhanje. Na temelju tih proračuna napravljen je projekt za priključenje zgrade na lokalni magistralni plinovod. Prirodni plin se potom koristi kao gorivo u plinskim kondenzacijskim kotlovima i štednjacima raspoređenim po pojedinim stanovima. Produkti izgaranja prirodnog plina se potom odvode u dimnjak.
Abstract (english)
This master thesis explains fundamental properties of natural gas and its uses in residential and commercial sectors. It analyses its market share in countries that are part of European Union and Croatia in particular. Focus of this master thesis is a plan for a central heating system and central domestic hot water system for a tall residential building situated in Croatian town of Rijeka. Through the paper you will find numerous calculations regarding heat losses of the building (before and after renovation), buildings energy consumption for heating (before and after renovation), domestic hot water and cooking. Based on these calculations a plan is provided for connecting the building to the local natural gas pipeline. Natural gas is than used as fuel for central condensing boilers and cooking stows located in individual flats. Products of natural gas combustion are afterwards ejected through the chimney.
