Abstract
Ovaj diplomski rad daje pregled korištenja Grad-CAM metode interpretabilnosti konvolucijskih neuronskih mreža nad klasifikacijskim problemima iz rendgenskih slika ruke. U tu svrhu su trenirani modeli različitih arhitektura na kojima je primijenjena Grad-CAM metoda interpretabilnosti. Pojedini rezultati su pokazali kako interpretabilnost izlaza modela eventualno može biti korisna radiolozima pri radu s rendgenskim slikama te potencijalno mogu poslužiti kao alat za postizanje većeg povjerenja ljudi u modele strojnog učenja.
Abstract (english)
This thesis provides an overview of the use of the Grad-CAM method of interpretability of convolutional neural networks over classification problems from X-ray images. For this purpose, models of different architectures were trained on which the GradCAM interpretability method was applied. Some of the achieved results have shown that interpretable output of models can provide radiologists helpful assistance when working with X-ray images and could potentially serve as a tool to achieve greater trust of people in machine learning models.
