Abstract
Teorijski dio ovog rada sastoji se od povijesnog razvoja mjernih uređaja koji se koriste u svrhu mjerenja brzine strujanja fluida, te principa rada istih. Detaljnije je objašnjen radarski uređaj, također korišten u praktičnom dijelu, uključujući princip rada te najvažnije karakteristike. Praktični dio rada uključuje mjerenje protoka u otvorenom kanalu koristeći radarski uređaj za mjerenje površinske brzine. Mjerenje se odvija u laboratorijskim uvjetima pri poznatom protoku. Rad također sadrži određivanje srednje brzine fluida, potrebne za izračun protoka fluida. Nakon mjerenja i izračuna protoka, rezultati se uspoređuju s poznatim podacima, te se zaključuje da je radarski uređaj vjerodostojan.
Abstract (english)
The theoretical part of this paper consists of the historical development of measuring devices used for the measuring the fluid flow velocity, and operating principles. The radar device, also used in the practical part, is elaborated in details, including the principles of operation and the most important characteristics. The practical part of the paper involves open channel flow measurement using a radar device for measuring surface velocity. The measurement takes place under laboratory conditions at a known flow rate. This paper also contains the determination of the mean fluid velocity required to calculate the fluid flow. After measuring and calculating the flow, the results are compared with the known dana, and it is concluded that the radar device is credible.
