Abstract
U cilju smanjenja emisije stakleničkih plinova radi se na razvoju novih tehnologija koje bi za istu količinu goriva dale veću efektivnu snagu koristeći princip kogeneracije, a time smanjile potrebu za gorivom. Neke od takvih izvedbi opisane su na početku rada. Veći dio rada posvećen je mogućnosti razvoja ovakvog principa na motor Sulzer 7RTA48T-B. Izrađen je termodinamički proračun motora kako bi se dobila toplina sadržana u dimnim plinovima. Ta se toplina dalje predaje vodi koja dolazi do stanja pregrijane pare koja se zatim koristi za pogon parne turbine. Snaga dobivena u parnoj turbini predaje se osovini brodskog motora pri čemu se povećava sveukupna korisnost sustava, što dovodi do smanjenja potrebe za gorivom.
Abstract (english)
In order to reduce green house gas emissions new technologies are being developed. Technologies using principle of cogeneration make possible to get greater effective power from the same amount of fuel used and thus reduce need for fuel consumption. Some of the technologies are described in the beginning of the paper. Possibility of applying such technology to marine engine Sulzer 7RTA48T-B is discussed in most part of the paper. In thermodynamic calculation of the engine heat contained in waste gases is calculated. That heat is then used for heating the water which is later used for turning the steam turbine. Power obtained in the steam turbine is transferred to the engine shaft thus improving overall efficiency of the system and reducing need for fuel.
