Abstract
U ovom završnom radu primjenom Fourierove metode analizirali smo i rješavali problem valne jednadžbe u jednoj i dvije prostorne dimenzije odnosno u Kartezijevom i za kružnu membranu u Descartesovu koordinatnom sustavu. Na početku su navedeni pojmovi koji su nam potrebni za razumijevanje i koje ćemo koristiti za rješavanje i izvođenje valnih jednadžbi. Jednodimenzionalnu jednadžbu izveli smo na primjeru idealno zategnute žice, dok je dvodimenzionalna predstavljena na primjeru idealno zategnute membrane.
Abstract (english)
In this final paper, using the Fourier method, we analyzed and solved the problem of the wave equation in one and two spatial dimensions, in the Cartesian and for the circular membrane in the Descartes coordinate system. At the beginning, we have terms that we need to understand and which we will use to solve and derive wave equations. We derived the one-dimensional equation on the example of an ideally taut wire, while the two-dimensional one is presented on the example of an ideally taut membrane.
