Abstract
U ovom diplomskom radu opisana je vremensko-frekvencijska analiza signala, motivacija za takvom analizom te osnove potrebne za njeno razumijevanjem. Takoder je prikazana Wigner- ¯ Villova distribucija kao jedan od alata za takvu analizu te njezina svojstva i ogranicenja. Neke od ˇ njezinih mana je popravila polinomna Wigner-Villova distribucija, na kojoj je i naglasak u ovome radu. Ona je potom primjenjena na nekoliko signala na kojima su demonstrirane njene prednosti i mane.
Abstract (english)
This graduate thesis considers time-frequency analysis, motivation for this kind of analysis and basic terms used in this field of research. The Wigner-Ville distribution is shown as one of the tools for this analysis and the WVD features and limitations are discussed. Some of the WVD’s flaws were fixed by the polynomial Wigner-Ville distribution, which is the main topic of this thesis.The PWVD has been applied to several signals which demonstrate advantages and disadvantages of this distribution over the classical WVD.
