Abstract
Cilj završnog rada bio je izmjeriti protok otvorenog vodotoka pomoću radara. Radarskim mjernim uređajem mjerena je površinska brzina strujanja fluida prirodnog otvorenog vodotoka. Ispitivanja su prvo provedena u laboratoriju kako bi se ispitao i provjerio uređaj. Potvrdom da je površinsku brzinu strujanja pouzdano mjeriti odabranim mjernim uređajem, mjerenja su provedena na terenu. Površina poprečnog presjeka izračunata je umnoškom prosječne dubine vodotoka i poznatom širinom vodotoka kojeg smo mjerili. Poznavanjem veličina srednje brzine strujanja i površine poprečnog presjeka vodotoka izračunat je njegov volumni protok.
Abstract (english)
The purpose of this final work was to measure the flow of an open watercourse using a surface velocity radar (SVR). It was successfully done by measuring the surface velocity of water on the river Dubračina in Crikvenica. Measurements were first performed in the laboratory to test and verify the device. When it was certain that the surface flow velocity is reliably measured with the Viatronics SVR-3 Pro radar, the flow of an natural open watercourse was measured. The crosssection was calculated by multiplying the average watercourse depth and the watercourse width. By knowing the values of the flow velocity and the cross-section of the watercourse, the volume flow was calculated.
