Abstract
U ovom radu procijenjen je otpor jedrilice dužine 14,95 m, za plovidbu svjetskim morima, te je odabran vijak i motor za istu. Otpor se procjenjuje pomoću „Delft Systematic Yacht Hull Series“, te se računa otpor golog trupa, otpor s privjescima u uspravnom i nagnutom stanju. Za odabir snage motora i vijka procijenjen je i otpor broda pri plovidbi po lošem vremenu. Odabir motora i vijka je izvršen po metodama iz knjige „Principles of Yacht Design“. Pomoću postupka opisanog u knjizi pronađena je odgovarajuća snaga motora te potrebne dimenzije vijka. Po tim podacima su izabrani postojeći motor i vijak prema potrebama broda.
Abstract (english)
In this paper, the resistance of a sailing yacht (14,95 m) has been assessed for navigation in the world′s oceans, and a propeller and engine has been selected for it. The resistance is evalueted using the „Delft Systematic Yacht Hull Series“, and it calculates the resistance of the bare hull as well as the resistance with appendages in both upright and inclined positions. To determine the engine power and propeller size, the ship′s resistancein adverse weather conditions ha salso been estimated. The selection of the engine and propeller was carried out using methods from the book „Principles of Yacht Design“. Using the procedures described in the book, the appropriate engine power and required propeller dimensions were determined. Based on this information, existing engine and propeller were chosen according to the needs of the vessel.
