Parallel abstract (English) | Non-destructive methods of testing materials are methods to examine the state of the test material without any invasive action on the same, which may be on the surface of the test element or within the material from which the test element is made. The shape, dimensions, characteristics, and chemical and physical properties of the test element during the test are not altered.
Physical principles, equipment and accessories used for testing are described. In addition, the sequence of steps to be taken during the test is shown. The method of testing liquid penetrants (PT), magnetic resonance imaging (MT) and ultrasonic testing (UT) were performed.
All three methods were used when testing the machine part MK.17-DI.50, ie a crane on the M / V "Platres" ship, where the penetration test was carried out on the welded joint of the crankshaft base and the crankshaft gear. Crank of the crane was tested with magnetic particles, while the ultrasound test was carried out on the welded joint of the crankshaft base flange. |
