Abstract
U ovom diplomskom radu dana je osnovna podjela vodnih turbina te su opisani glavni tipovi istih: Pelton, Francis, Dériaz i Kaplan turbina. Zatim je hidrauličkom analizom strujanja vode kroz spiralu izveden zakon vrtloga potencijalnog toka koji se često koristi za projektiranje spiralnih privoda. Sljedeće su definirane jednadžbe za proračun dimenzija spiralnog privoda i upotrijebljene unutar Excel tablice. Dobivene dimenzije pretvorene su u parametre 3D modela spiralnog privoda konstruiranog u CATIA-i. Geometrija je diskretizirana unutar ICEM CFD-a, a mreža učitana u FLUENT. Čitav postupak je automatiziran pomoću Python programskog jezika. Rezultati proračuna obrađeni su i prikazani unutar poglavlja REZULTATI.
