Abstract
Obnovljivi izvori energije, od kojih oni baziranih na energiji vjetra, glavni su način borbe protiv globalnog zatopljenja. Vjetroturbine su uređaji koji pretvaraju energiju vjetra u električnu energiju. Na temelju njihovog velikog značaja obrađene su podjele vjetrotrubina po njihovim tehničkim karakteristikama, konstrukcijskim izvedbama te mjestu ugradnje. Renewable energy sources, of which wind energy is based, are the main means of combating global warming. Wind turbines are devices that turn the wind energy into electricity. Because of their great importance, the wind turbines have been divided according to their technical characteristics, construction designs and installation site. All the materials used in wind turbine construction are described and their characteristics, advantages and disadvantages have been explained in detail. The...
