Abstract
U radu se opisuje razloge potrebe za tankerima ovog tipa i što je dovelo do razvoja suvremenih LNG tankera. Napravljena je podjela brodova ovisno o tipu spremnika i objašnjene su najbitnije karakteristike pojedinih spreminka. Proveden je proračun nenamjernog isparavanja ukapljenog plina radi topline koja prodire kroz stjenke tanka odabranog tipa. Prikazan je sustav tereta LNG tankera nosivosti 200000 m3 u kojemu su prikazani pojedini dijelovi opreme kao i njihove najbitnije tehničke karakteristike. Proveden je proračun pada tlaka u cjevovodu kako bi se mogla odabrati pumpa sa zadovoljavajućim karakteristikama. Na kraju radu su okvirno prikazani principi radnih postupaka tereta kao i sustavi usko vezani za upravljanje, nadzor i sigurnost sustava tereta.
Abstract (english)
This thesis describes a reason of need for tankers of this kind and what was the driving force behind the development of modern LNG tankers. The most important characteristics of different tanks are explained and the ships have been classified according to their tank type. In the thesis there are calculations of inadvertent evaporations of liquefied gas due to heat transfer through the specific tank. The thesis describes the LNG tankers cargo system with the transport capacity of up to 200000 m3, and it further describes the individual equipment as well as their most prominent technical characteristics. Pipeline pressure drops have been calculated and optimal cargo pumps have been chosen. Finally, the thesis outlines the basic principles of work procedures when dealing with cargo and the systems closely related to management, supervision and the security of the cargo system.
