Abstract
Tema rada bila je izrada računalne simulacije širenja šumskih požara. Napravljen je model koji predviđa kretanje šumskog požara na temelju gorivnih svojstava vegetacije, prijenosa topline zračenjem i konvekcijom i utjecaja vjetra i nagiba terena. Proračun širenja šumskog požara napravljen je metodom konačnih volumena pomoću programa OpenFOAM 5.0. Napravljene su tri simulacije širenja šumskog požara: na području Gržina u Istri, na području Parka prirode Velebit i na području Parka prirode Učka. Konačni rezultati, simulacije, daju uvid u način širenja šumskog požara na odabranim lokacijama tokom promatranog vremenskog razdoblja.
Abstract (english)
The goal of this thesis was to make a computer simulation of wildfire spread. A model was made which predicts the spread of a wildfire based on the combustion properties of vegetation, heat conduction by radiation and convection and the effects of wind and slope. The calculation of the spread of wildfire was performed with the finite volume method in the software OpenFOAM 5.0. Three simulations of wildfire spread were made: one on an area close to Gržini in Istria, one in the area of the Velebit Nature park and one in the area of Učka Nature park. The final results of the simulations give insight into the manner in which a wildfire would spread on the chosen locations during the observed time period.
