Abstract
U ovom radu istražena je Blockchain tehnologija kako bi se iskoristila za registraciju i upravljanje IOT uređajima. Blockchain je distribuirana „peer to peer“ mreža gdje nepouzdani članovi mogu međudjelovati bez pouzdanog posrednika. Predložena je arhitektura sustava i načini rješavanja problema IOT uređaja. IOT sustav veoma je centraliziran i podložan problemima sigurnosti, povezivosti i interoperabilnosti. Ključno je riješiti te probleme kako bi se IOT postavio na višu razinu primjene. Blockchain omogućava siguran kanal za komunikaciju i nadogradnju uređaja. Koncept povezanih blokova, distribuiranih čvorova uz kombinaciju s konsenzus mehanizmom omogućava pouzdanost i nepormjenjivost podataka. Sve to povezuju pametni ugovori koji svojom detaljnom specifikacijom upravljaju resursima korisnika kako bi automatizirali izvršavanje i uklonili posrednike čime se postiže financijski efektivan decentralizirani sustav uređaja neovisnih od treće strane
Abstract (english)
This paper explores the Blockchain technology to use it for the registration and management of IOT devices. Blockchain is a distributed peer to peer network where non trusting members can interact with each other without a trusted intermediary. System architecture sets a goal to solve the problems of highly centralized IOT system vunerable to security, conectivity and compatibility issues. Addressing those problems is a key to the goal of higher application of IOT. Blockchain provides secure channel using public key cryptography for comunication and device firmware update. The concept of connected blocks and distributed nodes in combination with consensus mechanism ensure the integrity of data. On the top of that smart contracts can manage all of the users resources to automate the execution of transactions which can make Internet of Things cost effective and relaible decentralized system.
