Abstract
U radu je opisana numerička simulacija strujanja bočnog retrovizora automobila. Prvi dio rada temeljen je na teoretskom pristupu. Opisan je matematički model, dan je povijesni prikaz retrovizora, te opisani su osnovni dijelovi istoga. Objašnjeno je i opstrujavanje retrovizora, odnosno sile koje djeluju na retrovizor pri strujanju zraka. Drugi dio rada odnosi se na numeričku simulaciju opstrujavanja bočnog retrovizora automobila. Izvođeno je ukupno devet simulacija. Tri različita oblika za tri različite brzine. Cilj rada je dokazati pomoću simulacija kako retrovizori s ugrađenim kamerama smanjuju otpor u odnosnu na standardni retrovizor. Osim izračuna otpora također je provedena i akustična analiza, te na temelju dobivenih rezultata odabran je najbolji retrovizor.
Abstract (english)
This paper describes the numerical simulation of the side mirror of the car. The first part of the thesis is based on a theoretical approach. A mathematical model is described, a historical overview of the side mirror and the basic parts are given. The flow around the side mirror and the forces acting on the mirror are explained. The second part of the paper deals with the numerical simulation of the flow around the side mirror. A total of 9 simulations were performed. Three different designs for 3 different speeds. The aim of the work is to prove by a numerical simulation how the side mirror with built-in camera (virtual side mirror) reduces the drag relative to the standard mirror. An acoustic analysis was also performed and based on comparison of results the best mirror was chosen.
