Abstract
Razvodni sustav motora je zadužen za otpremanje ispušnih plinova i izgorenih čestica te za osiguravanje potrebne količine svježeg zraka čime se omogućuje ponavljanje procesa. Razvodni sustav motora čine: usisni filtri, cilindri, bregasta vratila, ventili, mehanizmi prenošenja sile, ispušni vodovi i prigušivači. Okretanjem bregastog vratila, brjegovi preko podizača ili putem klackalica, poluga i opruga otvaraju i zatvaraju ventile. Budući da je prijenosni omjer koljenastobregasto vratilo 1 : 2, za dva okretaja koljenastog, bregasto napravi jedan. S gledišta kutnog kretanja, može se reći da se nakon dva okretaja koljenastog i jednog okretaja bregastog vratila, ona "poklope" u nuli. Varijabilnim pogonom ventila se utječe se na promjenu faznog kuta bregastog vratila u odnosu na koljenasto. Jedan od primjera tehnoloških rješenja varijabilnog pogona ventila je BMW-ov VANOS. Jednostruki VANOS upravlja samo bregastim vratilom usisnih ventila, dok Double VANOS upravlja s oba bregasta vratila, odnosno omogućava upravljanje vremenom otvaranja i zatvaranja i usisnih i ispušnih ventila. Bregastim vratilima se u tom slučaju konkretno upravlja preko mehaničko-hidrauličkog sklopa kojim upravlja računalni sustav vozila. U računalu su pohranjeni podaci optimalnih kutova otvaranja i zatvaranja ventila za što bolje performanse. Optimalne vrijednosti kutova se dobivaju pomoću simulacijskih softvera poput Lotusa, kao u slučaju ovog diplomskog rada. Prednosti varijabilnog pogona ventila se očituju u smanjenoj potrošnji goriva te povećavanju snage i momenta.
Abstract (english)
The gases exchange system is responsible for ejection of exhaust gases and particles and thereby ensuring the required amount of fresh air for another combustion process. This system is built of: suction filters, cylinders, camshafts, valves, force transmission mechanisms, exhaust pipes and springs. By rotating the camshaft, cams are opening and closing valves through lifters and rocker arms. The transmission ratio of the camshaft and crankshaft is 1:2. Variable valve train is introduced in order to avoid shafts overlap in the zero degrees and lead to improve engine operation. The single VANOS manages only the intake valves camshaft, while the Double VANOS manages both camshafts, enabling timing control of inlet and exhaust valves. In this case, the camshafts are specifically controlled via a mechanical-hydraulic unit controlled by the vehicle's computer system. The computer stores data of optimum angles of opening and closing valves for a better performance. Optimal angular values are gained through simulation software like Lotus as in this master thesis. The benefits of variable valve train are reflected in reduced fuel consumption and increased power and torque.
