According to the task, it is necessary to design the process planning of the housing cover according to the draft No. 13 11 11 01, for an annual quantity of 20 000 products. In the design process, we have in the long term the production and utilization of production tools and machines for the production of technologically similar requirements. Apart from the construction design and the annual quantity, no other data on control, delivery, etc. are listed, therefore the data are evaluated independently. It was necessary to determine the form of the input material, which corresponds to the production requirements, but is most cost effective. Finally, we calculated the time needed to produce one product, and at the beginning we calculated the time of such production to meet the required annual quantity. At the beginning, the time for one product was 5,44 min and at the end was 11,674 min. It indicates that production will be made on the same three universal machines to meet the annual quantity of 20 000 pieces. The calculation of production and economic speeds was also carried out and our cutting speeds are into the acceptable area, so the economic demand was satisfied.
