Abstract
Kompozitni materijali su umjetni materijali proizvedeni spajanjem dvaju ili više materijala različitih svojstava s ciljem dobivanja materijala boljih svojstava. Polimerna, metalna ili keramička matrica kompozitnih materijala povezuje ojačala, prenosi opterećenje na ojačala i štiti ih od vanjskih utjecaja i oštećenja. Ojačala imaju visoku specifičnu čvrstoću i krutost, malu masu, a o njihovoj vrsti, veličini, raspodjeli i orijentaciji značajno ovise svojstva kompozitnog materijala. Stoga su u ovom završnom radu analizirane različite vrste ojačala te utjecaj karakteristika ojačala na mehanička svojstva kompozitnih materijala. Prikazana je primjena kompozitnih materijala u strojarstvu, kao i trendovi njihovog razvoja i primjene.
Abstract (english)
Composite materials are artificial materials produced by merging two or more materials of different properties in order to create materials with better properties. The polymeric, metal or ceramic matrix of composite materials connects reinforcements, transfers the load to the reinforcements and protects them from external influences and damage. The reinforcements have high specific strength and stiffness, small mass, and their type, size, distribution and orientation significantly depend on the properties of the composite material. Therefore, different types of reinforcements have been analyzed in this final work, as well as the effect of reinforcing characteristics on the mechanical properties of composite materials. The application of composite materials in mechanical engineering, as well as the trends of their development and application are presented.
