Abstract
Ovaj rad opisuje strukturu i elemente tradicionalne distribucijske mreže, kao i promjene u modernoj mreži i načine automatizacije. Ipak, glavni fokus ovog rada su napredne distribucijske mreže, njihovi podsustavi i način njihove implementacije. Naprednim distribucijskim mrežama povećavamo učinkovitost sustava, smanjujemo broj kvarova i povećavamo pouzdanost sustava. Pametnim brojilima omogućavamo dvosmjernu komunikaciju između operatera sustava i potrošača i angažman potrošača u radu sustava. Podsustavi naprednih mreža su distribuirani izvori energije, pametne kuće, mikromreže, virtualne elektrane i skladišta energije. Neki od naprednih načina upravljanja mrežom su upravljanje trafostanicama, upravljanje sklopnim priborom i automatska restauracija mreže. Svi ovi sustavi omogućavaju smanjenje potrošnje i povećanje efikasnosti i pouzdanosti sustava.
Abstract (english)
This thesis describes structure and elements of a traditional distribution network, as well as changes in modern network and automation solutions. Main focus of this thesis, however, are smart grids, their subsystems and ways of their implementation. Smart grids improve system efficiency, decrese number of faults and improve system's reliability. Smart meters allow for two-way communication between a consumer and utility and promote consumer's engagement in running the utility. Subsystems of smart grids are distributed energy sources, smart homes, microgrids, virtual power plants and energy storages. Some of advanced control systems are substation automation, switchgear automation and automatic grid recovery. All of these systems allow lowering of consumption and increase in efficiency and reliability of the system.
