Abstract
Ovaj završni rad opisuje Gibbsov fenomen u području elektrotehnike. Izvedena su i objašnjena svojstva Fourierovog reda kao i pojava Gibbsovog fenomena kod aproksimacije funkcija Fourierovim redom. Pomoću programskog paketa MATLAB, analiziran je intenzitet fenomena Gibbsa te je isti izmjeren za različite primjere Fourierovih redova. Uz navedeno, predstavljene su i posljedice i poteškoće koje ovaj fenomen predstavlja u inženjerskoj struci kao i načini njihovog uklanjanja.
Abstract (english)
This final paper describes the Gibbs phenomenon in the field of electrical engineering. The properties of the Fourier series are derived and explained as well as the appearance of Gibbs phenomenon in Fourier series approximation of different functions. Using the help of MATLAB, we analyze the intensity of the Gibbs phenomenon. Therefore, the same is measured for various examples of Fourier series. Except for the above, the consequences and difficulties that this phenomenon arises in the engineering profession are also presented as well as the methods of their removal
