Abstract
Rad se bavi konverzijom Flex-Lay broda u J-Lay brod za velike dubine. Na početku rada su opisani svi ciljevi preinake. U trećem poglavlju su navedene i objašnjene sve uobičajene metode polaganja cijevi te sve prednosti i mane takvih sistema. Ujedno je i objašnjen razlog odabira nove J-Lay metode polaganja, te svi nedostatci koji su tim novim sistemom riješeni. Nadalje u četvrtom poglavlju su navedene sve veće promjene i dodatci na strukturi broda. Navedeni su i svi tehnološki aspekti i preduvjeti za postavljanje nove strukture i nove opreme. U petom poglavlju je objašnjen cijeli postupak polaganja cijevi ovog novog sistema, od ukrcaja cijevi na brod, pa sve do konačnog polaganja cjevovoda na morsko dno. Uz to je navedena sva potrebna nova funkcionalna oprema za obavljanje primarne zadaće broda (eng. mission equipment). Pod to spadaju i nove dvostruke proizvodne linije, različite vrste transportnih valjaka, razna dizala i dizalice, nova LDA ruka za podizanje cijevi, te najveći i najkompleksniji dio ove konverzije, toranj za polaganje cijevi.
Abstract (english)
This work deals with the conversion of a Flex-Lay vessel to an ultra-deep J-Lay vessel. At the beginning, all the goals of the modification are described. In the third chapter all the usual methods of pipe laying are described with all the advantages and disadvantages of such systems. Also, the reason for choosing the new J-Lay method was explained, as well as all the shortcomings that were solved by this new system. Furthermore, the fourth chapter lists all the biggest changes and additions to the ships structure. All the technological aspects and preconditions for setting up of a new structure and a new equipment are also listed. The fifth chapter explains the entire process of the new pipelaying system, from loading pipes on the ship, all the way to the final laying of the pipeline on the seabed. In addition, all necessary new mission equipment is listed. These include new double barrel production lines, different kinds of conveyor rollers, various cranes and elevators, a new loading arm (LDA), and the largest and most complex part of this conversion, the pipe-laying tower.
