Abstract
U ovom diplomskom radu je prikazan utjecaj konstante tromosti na dinamičke performanse i stabilnost elektroenergetskog sustava. Konvencionalni sinkroni generatori pružaju podršku regulaciji frekvencije sa svojim rotirajućim masama, dok proizvodne jedinice spojene preko pretvarača na mrežu ne pružaju potrebnu tromost i prigušni moment. Budući da se ukupna konstanta tromosti smanjuje sa sve većom integracijom obnovljivih izvora energije, predložen je koncept virtualnog sinkronog generatora kao način dodavanja virtualne tromosti obnovljivom izvoru energije oponašajući djelovanje konvencionalnih sinkronih generatora. Nadalje, u radu je dan pregled postojećih topologija virtualnih sinkronih generatora, te njihova primjena. Zatim je dan prikaz tehničkih izazova povezanih sa povećanom integracijom virtualnih sinkronih generatora u elektroenergetski sustav, te potrebe daljnjih istraživanja i perspektiva razvoja. Naposljetku je potvrđen utjecaj virtualne tromosti na stabilnost elektroenergetskog sustava kroz simulaciju na realnom primjeru mreže.
Abstract (english)
In this thesis, the influence of the inertia constant on the dynamic performance and stability of the power system is presented. Conventional synchronous generators provide support for frequency regulation with their rotating masses, while generating units connected via inverters to the grid do not provide the necessary inertia and damping torque. As the total inertia constant decreases with increasing integration of renewable energy sources, the concept of a virtual synchronous generator has been proposed as a way to add virtual inertia to a renewable energy source by mimicking the operation of conventional synchronous generators. Furthermore, the paper gives an overview of the existing topologies of virtual synchronous generators, and their application. Then, an overview of the technical challenges associated with the increased integration of virtual synchronous generators into the power system, and the need for further research and development prospects. Finally, the influence of virtual inertia on the stability of the power system was confirmed through simulation on a real network example.
