In this graduate thesis there is presented the conceptual design of the machining system for six different workpieces. An analysis of the technological and production characteristics of each workpiece is presented. . At the beginnig of the thesis are defined quantities that will be produced during one year for all six workpieces. Then, all products from the construction, production and technological point of view are described and analyzed. The next chapter shows a detailed processing plan for each workpiece and shows the duration of all operations on individual machines, both CNC and universal, which are described in detail ( their purchase value, specifications, etc.) . Based on the processing time, the matrices are formed by means of which grouping of the workpieces is done, in this case by an abbreviated process method, and we obtained the appropriate models of the production system considering degrees of utilization. After grouping, we determined the appropriate spatial arrangement for each model, defined workflow of processing and transport system. A calculation was made for the minimum number of workers in the system and the term load was defined. In the end, production cycles were made for each production model.
