Abstract
Termoelektrane su postrojenja koja energiju pohranjenu u fosilnim gorivima pretvaraju u električnu energiju. Najbitniji dijelovi svake termoelektrane su parni kotao ili generator pare, parna turbina, kondenzator, generator i transformator.Termoelektrane možemo podijeliti u dvije velike skupine i to su kondenzacijske parne termoelektrane i termoelektrane-toplane.Prije deset godina termoelektrane su zauzimale 64% svjetske proizvodnje električne energije. U današnje vrijeme njihova upotreba i izgradnja se smanjuju zbog štetnog utjecaja na okoliš, pogotovo u razvijenim zemljama koje mogu investirati u proizvodnju električne energije iz obnovljivih izvora.
Abstract (english)
Thermal power stations are stations which convert the energy stored in fossil fuels to electrical energy. The most important parts of every thermal power plant are the steam boiler or the steam generator, steam turbine, condensator, generator and the transformer. Thermal power stations can be divided into two mayor groups which are: condensation thermal power plants and thermal power plants-heating stations. Ten years ago, thermal power plants have occupied 64% of the world's electrical energy production.Nowadays,their usage and construction is shrinking because of their harmful effect on the environment, especially in developed countries which can invest in the production of electrical energy from renewable sources.
