Abstract
Cilj ovoga projekta bio je odrediti koliko se poveća snaga dizelskog motora sa prednabijanjem turbopuhalom u odnosu na dizelski motor bez turbopuhala pri atmosferskoj dobavi zraka. Za simulaciju rada motora, proračun snage i ostalih parametara korišten je komercijalni program. U ovom diplomskom radu najprije je opisan Dieselov i Sabatheov proces kojim rade motori sa unutarnjim izgaranjem. Nakon toga obrađen je svaki od bitnih elemenata za rad motora te mu je pojašnjena svrha i način rada. Pojašnjena je teorija rada motora te je utvrđen prostor za unaprjeđivanje snage motora prednabijanjem. Opisan je postupak prednabijanja kao i različite izvedbe prednabijanja i hlađenja zraka. Na posljetku su prikazani rezultati simulacije oba motora i komentari rezultata.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this project was to determine how much can the power of the diesel engine be increased using a turbocharger in comparison to the engine with atmospheric air intake. A commercial program was used to simulate engine operation, power calculation, and other parameters. In this graduate thesis, the description of Diesel's and Sabathe's processes with internal combustion engines is described. After that, each of the essential elements for the engine operation was worked out, and the purpose and mode of operation clarified. The theory of engine operation is outlined and a space for advancing engine power is provided by turbocharging. The turbocharging procedure as well as the various prefabrication and cooling systems are described. Finally, the results of the simulation of both engines and comments of the results are presented.
