Abstract
Cilj ovoga rada bio je za automobilski četverotaktni motor s prednabijanjem primijeniti sustav varijabilnog upravljanja ventilima faznim pomicanjem bregastog vratila (VVT). Za izradu ovoga rada koristio se program Lotus Engine Simulation. Izvršen je proračun za optimalno upravljanje ventilima pri različitim brzinama vrtnje na osnovu kojeg se dobio algoritam za optimalno upravljanje sustavom. Dobiveni rezultati su pokazali da je pri nižim i višim brzinama vrtnje pogodno kasnije, a pri srednjim brzinama ranije otvaranje. Za ovaj motor je isplativije pomicanje bazičnog kuta otvaranja od primjene VVT-a zbog malih dobitaka momenta. Proračunao se i pogonski moment bregastog vratila iz čega su dobivene dimenzije VVT-a. Na kraju je VVT sustav konstruiran te je opisan njegov princip rada. VVT je kompaktan sustav s kojim se dobije poboljšanje performansi motora uz neznatnu potrošnju energije. Zbog male veličine mogu se bez problema ugraditi na gotovo svaki motor.
Abstract (english)
The focus of this paper was to apply a variable valve timing system by cam phasing (VVT) in a supercharged fourstroke automotive engine. Program Lotus Engine Simulation was used for this work. A calculation was made to achieve the optimal valve timing at different engine speeds, which served as a base for the creation of the algorithm for the optimized valve timing. The calculated results showed that at low and high engine speeds later opening was preferable and at medium speeds earlier opening. For this engine it is more cost-effective to move the base angle than the VVT application due to the small gains of the torque. Camshaft drive torque was also calculated, from which the dimensions of the VVT were obtained. In the end, a VVT system was designed and its working principle was described. VVT is a compact system that improves engine performance with low energy consumption. Because of its small size, it is easy to fit almost every engine.
