Abstract
U ovom diplomskom radu proračunava se snaga četverotaktnog automobilskog dizelskog motora s unutarnjim izgaranjem zapremnine 2000 cm3 u dva slučaja te se vrši usporedba dobivenih rezultata. Prvo se računa dobivena snaga motora sa slobodnim usisom, dok je kod druge varijante predviđeno prednabijanje motora primjenom turbopuhala i hladnjaka zraka. Osim snage, analiziraju se performanse motora u pogledu dobivenog zakretnog momenta, specifične potrošnje i volumetrijske efikasnosti. Za proračun se koristi Lotus Simulation Tools, simulacijski program britanske tvrtke Lotus koja proizvodi sportska i trkaća vozila. Osnove o izvedbama motora te procesima i sustavima unutar dizelskih motora sadržane su na početku diplomskog rada. Nakon teoretskog sažimanja procesa prednabijanja, vrši se proračun motora sa slobodnim usisom i motora s prednabijanjem. Dobiveni rezultati ukazuju na povećanje snage, momenta i efikasnosti motora s prednabijanjem, uz istovremeno smanjenje specifične potrošnje goriva.
Abstract (english)
In this graduate thesis we will be calculating the power of a four stroke diesel car engine with internal combustion with displacement of 2000 cm3, in two examples while comparing the results. First we will calculate gained power of an engine with atmospheric air intake while the other example will take into account increased power under the effect of turbocharger and intercooler systems. Other than engine power, performance of the engine will also be analyzed in regard to torque, specific consumption and volumetric efficiency. Lotus Simulation Tools will be used for calculations, a simulation program designed by British company Lotus which produces vehicles for sports and races. Basics regarding engine performances and diesel engine systems are given at the very start of the paper. After summarizing the theoretical part of process of increasing the engine's power, the process of calculating the numbers for engine with atmospheric air intake and turbocharging engine can begin. Upon completing all of the tests, given test results showed increased power, momentum and efficiency of the engine that was being turbocharged while simultaneously consuming less fuel per given power.
