Abstract
Glavna je tema ovog rada bila analitička podloga za proračunavanje geometrijskih karakteristika zavarenih spojeva, koja se pokazala važnom uglavnom kod kutnih spojeva. U uvodnom dijelu dotakao sam se općenitih pojmova o zavarivanju i različitim tipovima spojeva i tehnikama koje se koriste, te sam to sve popratio autentičnim slikama iz jednog od brodogradilišta tvrtke Fincantieri. Nakon iznošenja osnova o zavarivanju započeo sam sa glavnom temom te postavio standarde koji obuhvaćaju izvođenje zavarivanja kod malih brodova, a nakon toga i brodova općenito. Iz empirijskih formula i potrebnih koeficijenata dobiva se predodžba o tome što je sve potrebno znati prilikom dimenzioniranja zavarenih spojeva. Nakon iznošenja nekih od zahtjeva, usporedio sam razlike zavarenih spojeva kod malih plovnih objekata i većih brodova. Iz rezultata je bilo vidljivo kako su razlike nastajale upravo na područjima koja se smatraju kritičnima za strukturu broda. U posljedenjem dijelu diplomskog rada iznio sam primjer dimenzioniranja nekoliko zavarenih spojeva na presjeku glavnog rebra po standardima IACS-a, te sam uz pomoć nekih od njihovih standarada ukratko izložio nešto o detaljnijem projektiranju zavarenih spojeva.
Abstract (english)
The main topic of this thesis was the analytical basis for calculating the geometric characteristics of welded joints, which proved to be important mainly for tee joints. In the introductory part, I touched on the general concepts of welding and the different types of joints and techniques used, and I accompanied it all with authentic pictures from one of Fincantieri's shipyards. After presenting the basics of welding, I started with the main topic and set the standards that cover the welding of small ships, and then ships in general. Empirical formulas and necessary coefficients provide an idea of what it is necessary to know when dimensioning welded joints. After presenting some of the requirements, I compared the differences of welded joints in small vessels and larger ships. It was evident from the results that the differences arose precisely in the areas that are considered critical for the ship's structure. In the last part of the thesis, I presented an example of the dimensioning of several welded joints on the midship section according to IACS standards, and with the help of some of their standards, I briefly explained detail design of welded joints.
