In the first part of this paper, production spatial structures are discussed. There are specified the basic division of production structures. Each type of production structure is covered in turn and supported with sketches and pictures. After that, the next chapter talks about product clustering methods. A division of methods was made with an explanation of each of them, and the methods that fall into each of the groups are listed. The process clustering method used to solve the practical part of this thesis is explained in detail. The practical part of the work begins with a technological analysis of the product, which describes the products, explains the order of processing of each product, and gives a list of operations with the required time for each of them. The technological analysis is followed by the capacity calculation for the minimum and maximum set product quantities. The annual load of the machines and the annual available capacity of the machines are determined, based on which the number of necessary machines for the production of a certain product is obtained. When the required number of machines was determined, it was moved on to product grouping for both periods of product quantities, and two product grouping scenarios were reviewed depending on the costs of reconfiguration and the degree of utilization of the machines. At the very end of the work, when the final groups of products were selected, a simulation of the production system was performed and a detailed explanation of the work within the software used for the simulation was performed.
