Abstract
Soft starter je elektronički uređaj koji se koristi za postupno pokretanje i zaustavljanje uglavnom trofaznih asinkronih motora. Soft starteri smanjuju početni napon i struju koja se isporučuje motoru, što smanjuje stres na motoru i povećava njegov vijek trajanja. Soft starteri se koriste u mnogim aplikacijama, uključujući pumpe, ventilatore, transportere i kompresore. Problemi pokretanja motora mogu nastati zbog neispravnosti soft start sustava ili zbog problema s motorom. Uobičajeni problemi uključuju preopterećenje motora, pregrijavanje motora, prekid napajanja i kvarove u električnom sustavu. Prednosti korištenja soft startera uključuju smanjenje stresa na motoru, smanjenje potrošnje energije, poboljšanje pouzdanosti sustava i smanjenje troškova održavanja. Nedostaci korištenja soft startera uključuju povećanu cijenu sustava, smanjenje učinkovitosti motora i povećanu potrošnju energije tijekom postupka pokretanja.
Abstract (english)
A soft starter is an electronic device used for gradually starting and stopping mainly three-phase asynchronous motors. Soft starters reduce the starting voltage and current delivered to the motor, which reduces stress on the motor and increases its life. Soft starters are used in many applications, including pumps, fans, conveyors and compressors. Problems starting the engine can be caused by a malfunction of the soft start system or by problems with the engine. Common problems include motor overload, motor overheating, power failure, and electrical system malfunctions. The benefits of using a soft starter include reducing stress on the motor, reducing energy consumption, improving system reliability and reducing maintenance costs. Disadvantages of using a soft starter include increased system cost, reduced engine efficiency, and increased energy consumption during the starting process.
