Abstract
Ovaj rad se bavi linearnim optimizacijskim problemima s ograničenjima. U radu se istražuje povijesni razvoj linearnog programiranja, od ranih doprinosa do moderne primjene. Detaljno se objašnjava matematička formulacija problema, uključujući funkciju cilja, ograničenja i definiciju linearnog programa. Praktični primjeri iz stvarnog svijeta ilustriraju široku primjenu ove metode. Rad se također bavi teorijskim aspektima linearne optimizacije, uključujući koncept konveksnih skupova i teorem o ekstremnim točkama. Predstavljaju se metode rješavanja problema, poput grafičke metode za jednostavnije probleme i simpleks metode za kompleksnije probleme s većim brojem varijabli. Također se istražuje koncept dualnog problema i njegova važnost za interpretaciju rješenja. Konačno, rad pruža pregled softverskih alata poput Excel Solvera koji se koriste za rješavanje problema linearne optimizacije u praksi.
Abstract (english)
This paper explores linear optimization problems with constraints. It delves into the historical development of linear programming, from early contributions to its modern applications. The mathematical formulation of the problem is explained in detail, encompassing the objective function, constraints, and the definition of a linear program. Practical, real-world examples illustrate the wide range of applications for this method. Furthermore, the paper addresses the theoretical aspects of linear optimization, including the concept of convex sets and the extreme point theorem. It presents problem-solving methods such as graphical methods for simpler problems and the simplex method for more complex problems with a larger number of variables. The concept of the dual problem and its significance in solution interpretation are also explored. Finally, the paper provides an overview of software tools like Excel Solver, which are used to solve linear optimization problems in practice.
