Plantar pressure measuring is the measurement of the pressure field which is achieved between the feet and the ground, during daily locomotor activity. There is a great need in development of plantar pressure measuring devices in field of sport medicine and rehabilitation. Plantar pressure measuring devices are: platform system, recording technology with sophisticated image processing and in-shoe system. This paper describes the independent design of the in-shoe system with the FSR sensors for plantar pressure measurement and algorithm creation of a walking path prediction (SVR). The measurements required prior algorithm creation (SVR) are taken in an outdoor environment where the examinee walked by marked paths. In order to increase the quality of the plantar pressure measurement, it is necessary to develop better systems that are smaller, lighter and part of the in-shoe system which contain sensors with better resolution such as Dynafoot. In order to create the algorithm of a walking path prediction more precise, it is necessary to collect data from a larger testing sample with multiple repetitions. The usage of such systems (device, analysis, metamodel) would enable better predictions, analysis and optimization of human walking dynamics. Also, it would increase efficiency in sport, it would provide detection of abnormal and pathogenic walking patterns, faster diagnostics and a better treatment plan for rehabilitation of people with disabilities.
