Abstract
U ovom radu napravljen je pregled postojećih rješenja za smanjivanje ili otklanjanje kavitacije kod vodnih turbina te su objašnjeni osnovni pojmovi vezani za nastanak kavitacije. Drugi dio zadatka je bio izraditi računalnu simulaciju protoka fluida unutar difuzora Francis-ove hidroturbine. U svrhe izrade numeričke simulacije korišten je softver Ansys Fluent. Rezultati simulacije predstavljeni su kroz grafičke prikaze koji uključuju konture tlaka, prikaze brzinskih kontura i strujnice.
Abstract (english)
In this final thesis is offered of existing solutions for reducing or eliminating cavitation in water turbines and explains the basic concepts related to the formation of cavitation. The second part of the task involved creating a computer simulation of fluid flow within the diffuser of a Francis hydro turbine. For the purpose of the numerical simulation, the software Ansys Fluent was used. The simulation results are presented through graphical representations, including pressure contours, velocity contour plots, and streamlines.
