Abstract
U radu je definirana uloga jalove snage u elektroenergetskim sustavima i potrošačkim instalacijama, definiran je njezin utjecaj na gubitke snage i troškove kupnje električne energije. Navode se osnovne metode za popravak faktora snage te su opisani uređaji koji se koriste za kompenzaciju i regulaciju jalove snage. Opisan je primjer ugradnje kondenzatora u elektroenergetski sustav, izračunati su troškovi ugradnje i dugoročna ušteda korištenja kompenzatora u energetskim sustavima.
Abstract (english)
This work defines the role of the reactive power in the electrical power systems and consuming installations. Her influence on power loss and expenses of buying the electrical energy are also described. Furthermore, some of the basic correctional methods concerning the power factor are suggested. Also, devices used for compensation and regulation of the reactive power are mentioned and described. Nevertheless, an example of building in a capacitor in the electrical power system is represented and also long-term savings of the compensator usage in electrical power systems.
