Abstract
Ovaj završni rad naziva „Primjena polimernih materijala u proizvodnji sportske opreme“ uvodno se bavi definiranjem polimernih materijala i načinom izrade polimera. Nadalje, analizira se struktura polimera i kako različite strukture utječu na svojstva polimera. Također je navedena primjena plastomera, elastomera i duromera u određenim industrijama i proizvodima. Naglasak je dan na primjenu polimera u sportskoj industriji, tijekom povijesti pa sve do danas, gdje je objašnjeno kako polimeri pružaju prednost u odnosu na ostale vrste materijala zbog svoje elastičnosti, izdržljivosti, male mase, čvrstoće i drugih poželjnih svojstava. Analizirani su moderni postupci dobivanja sportske opreme toplinskim oblikovanjem i različitim vrstama 3D printanja (SLS, SLA i FDM). Na posljetku je prikazano korištenje polimera za zaštitu sportaša u obliku kaciga i općenito korištenje u pojedinim kategorijama sportova, te su dani odgovarajući zaključci.
Abstract (english)
The title of this thesis is „Application of Polymer Materials in the Production of Sports Equipment“. It deals with the definition of polymeric materials, how they are obtained, and the ways in which their structure influences their properties. The application of polymers, elastomers, and thermoset polymers in specific industries and products is also mentioned. The emphasis is placed on the application of polymers in the sports industry, throughout history until today, where it is explained how polymers provide advantages over other types of materials due to their elasticity, durability, low weight, strength, and other desirable properties. Modern methods of manufacturing sports equipment through thermal molding and various types of 3D printing (SLS, SLA, FDM) are analyzed. Finally, the use of polymers for athlete protection and their general use in specific sports are presented, followed by appropriate conclusions.
