Abstract
Korozija je proces nagrizanja materijala i njegovo nenamjerno trošenje zbog utjecaja okoliša. Brzina korozije ovisi o unutarnjim i vanjskim čimbenicima, a može se smanjiti primjenom metoda zaštite od korozije, u ovom radu prikazan je postupak zaštite od korozije nanošenjem prevlaka: vrućim uranjanjem (pocinčavanjem) te plastifikacijom. Vruće pocinčavanje je metoda uranjanja metala u vrući cink, a metoda nanošenja prevlaka plastifikacijom je raspršivanje praha elektrostatskim pištoljem na metal. Obje metode traže dobru pripremu materijala, ali razlikuju se kod nanošenja. Bitna razlika je ta da kod metode nanošenja prevlake cinkom, cink se veže za površinu metala, dok kod metode nanošenja prevlake plastifikacijom, nanošenjem praha on prianja na površinu materijala. Uspoređujući ova dva postupka dolazi se do zaključka da je zaštita vrućim pocinčavanjem bolja metoda od zaštite plastifikacijom zbog dugotrajnosti, te bolje mehaničke i katodne zaštite cinkovom prevlakom.
Abstract (english)
Corrosion is the process of material erosion and its unintentional wear due to environmental influences. The rate of corrosion depends on internal and external factors, and it can be reduced by applying methods of corrosion protection, this paper presents the process of corrosion protection by applying coatings: hot dipping (galvanizing) and plasticization. Hot-dip galvanizing is a method of immersing the metal in hot zinc, and the method of applying the coating by plasticization is spraying the powder with an electrostatic gun on the metal. Both methods require good preparation of the material, but differ in application. The essential difference is that in the zinc coating method, zinc is attached to the surface of the metal, while in the plastic coating method, it adheres to the surface of the material by applying powder. Comparing these two procedures, we come to the conclusion that protection by hot-dip galvanizing is a better method than protection by plasticization due to its durability, and better mechanical and cathodic protection by zinc coating.
