This work consists of optimizing product assembly with the aim of increasing production capacity and reducing losses for two types of products produced on the observed production line. The products are two different types of fans for which the goal is the annual production of each type of fan in the amount of 80,000 pieces. For this purpose, lean production tools and methods were used. In the implementation process, the focus was to shorten the production cycle time of each fan. The implementation of the 5S method was started, which enabled the efficient organization of the work environment. Then, the system of supplying work cells with material was improved, which contributed to a safer working environment and reduced waiting for material. An important part of the optimization was the SMED method. The tool change time when changing series was shortened and the available production time was increased. Finally, a work balancing meth od was implemented in the production cell, which directly shortened the time of fan production cycles. By using all tools, the productivity of the production cell was significantly increased and the desired production rate was achieved, which led to improved competitiveness and better utilization of production resources.
