This master thesis presents the project of technological process planning of the transport wheel D179 in the annual quantity of 500 pieces. The whole project started with the analysis from a structural and technological point of view which resulted in the definition of the constructional requirements and the technological possibilities of a transport wheel. The following step was defining input material based on the conditions set at the beginning of the project. The defined input material for the production of the transport wheel was a bar based on which the structure of the technological process was formed. The next step was an in-detail overview of every operation of the technological process which provided information on the tools used for production, cutting data, used machines and sketches based on which technological documentation was formed. The in-detail overview determined the time of each operation. To validate the successfulness of the formed structure of the technological process, the final control was performed on the manufactured transport wheel. The whole manufacturing process was simulated in the software Mastercam. The final step was to perform the expense analysis of the production of one transport wheel and for the annual quantity of 500 pieces.
